Holly is doing great. Believe it or not she has still not heard a final outcome for the internship with Toms. She is very disappointed with them.
She received an email from them that she was still in the running and would be notifed "soon." Then she received another email saying they were changing some of the offers in the internship. Originally they were supplying housing near Toms but no pay. Now they changed it to pay but no housing. If you were still interested then do nothing ... if this disqualified you then send them an email and take yourself out of the running.
That is what set her off. After waiting until the last second and then changing the game she was like: "Where and how am I supposed to find housing in LA with what little pittance they would supply for what was origianlly an unpaid thing."
She has decided to not take her name out of the running ... and has now received an email saying that she will be called and interviewed soon (that was two weeks ago when we were up there ... still hasn't happened). She has already started working for the college and will be spending her summer in NY but is going to use the Toms interview to tell them what has done wrong in their process and that she will be happy to come to work for them with a plan on how to fix the problems when she graduates in two years.
All that to say ... she's fairly happy to be spending her summer in LA and getting to know the faculty and staff at King's in a different environment.
You have a great voice, but its your heart that I really love.
Im glad we are friends.
Love You LA
It was great to see you at the Walking Horse Hotel in Wartrace with Joe. The band was a lot of fun and great music. Keep selling those cd's. Also, I promise to step back next time I knock on the door! lol!!!
