Profile Information

Location:
Arrington, TN
About Me:
I am a voice actor and I also have my own voice over websight called: www.sweetheatfarms.com. I used to sell candy there, now it's strictly voices and no jams, peanut brittle or salsa. Stirring is very difficult and lonely work. Life behind the mic is far better than life behind the stove, and my arm doesn't hurt at the end of the day!
Why are you here:
I love the business! I love being in the studio! I want to grow my voice-over business so I'll get to have more fun, and hang out in the studio with Joe Loesch all day. Much to his chagrin...he's my mentor. Wasn't that a Seinfeld episode?
Favorite Voice-Over Artist:
Mel Blanc, Paul Harvey, Rick Lance, Harland Hogan and the guy who does Charlie the Lonesome Cougar.
Your Recent VO Accomplishments:
Voice work for various web sites, Instructional Webinar for Hastings Retail. banking commercials for Creative Vision, plus audio-book work for Readio Theatre. Daily newspaper read for Bend Bulletin, out of Oregon. Doesn't pay much, but the daily practice of reading really helps. Also continuing classes with Joe Loesch and Bettye Zoller. You can never know too much information or too many people. Joe's class, taught over four weeks, paints a great and realistic picture of what it takes to be in this wacky and fun filled business. "You mean they pay me for this?"

He's got a character class coming up, but on his page he has his schedule. Most sessions last for 4 meetings. He has an intro, but I think you're beyond that. Check out joeloesch.com and look under classes.

Jake, I sure am glad you're in this new class! Everyone should take a refresher class once in awhile. You set the standards!

Funny. It would be eating things with less than 30 ingredients as long as there isn't any Partially Hydroginated Oil or High Fructose Corn Syrup. However, I like to eat things with less than 5 to 7 ingredients.

Hi Jake! Great to have you as a friend on here. I think I may have to try some of your scrumptious farm goods. I put your site in my favorites folder. I'm a fool for bread & butter pickles!
